Gantry type milling machine : The gantry milling machine is used to do large-area cutting, or to mill out the formed surface, spiral groove or gear tooth profile with a special-shaped milling cutter. When milling, the workpiece is mounted on the worktable or turned by the accessory head (angle head, universal head...), the milling cutter makes a rotary motion, and the worktable makes a feed motion to form cutting.
